R3 update to 2.5
Received my new filament sensor today by DHL to replace my melted one. Had talked to Michele about the issue on where the extruder housing had been melted and wound up with contamination in the filament feed. I had to clean out the extruder from debris and print out the new R3 mod. I have PLA dialed back in and the prints are great. I printed these parts in Prusa Transparent Blue on a whim. Looks good and seems fully functional. Will touch base with you again when I get back into PETG and see how the new fan setup works with that.

Have completed quite a few prints with PETG and PLA switching back and forth between them and have had no issues other than I seem to have to increase the temp of the extruder and bed a bit to get the results that I had before. The new filament sensor works well with the blue PETG (it was all I had at the time). 😀 😀
