MK2.5 XYZ Calibration Problem

Hi,

I just finished MK2.5 upgrade. Had problems with XYZ calibration. I had a massege "XYZ Calibration Failed". After 3 try I anabled "Power mode" and it helped (or it is just accident). I will try to test today to check if it was accidentally or not. But maybe this information will help somebody with callibration problems.

Re: MK2.5 XYZ Calibration Problem

What was the failure you had? I have been running the Mk2.5 for a few weeks but when I upgraded to the new firmware the XYZ Calibration failed to find the third calibration point. Even when I backed off the firmware upgrade it fails too. This is on a printer that passed fine after the original upgrade.

If going to a higher power mode improved it I suspect that you have a skew axis or belts that are too tight. I suggest loosening the belts slightly and giving it another go.

I had "XYZ Calibration failed: Consult the manual" after 4rd calibration point.

Now I have "Axes perpendicular", but I didn't change anything in printer, just upgrade firmware to "3.2.0 Final" and anabled "Power mode".
