MK2.5 Printed parts

If you had issues printing the PET parts for the upgrade (such as thermal runaway errors like I did) and had to resort to printing individual parts (otherwise risk wasting material when the print fails part way through), then DO NOT USE SUPPORTS. This particular, but extremely crucial, point does not seem to have reached the assembly guide as yet. Printing with supports means that you cannot insert the zip ties into the x-carriage, as it is filled with support material. I have just discovered this, and now have a Prusa MK2S partially dismantled on my table, and no way to re-print the x-carriage without having either reassemble the printer or buy the part.

"Prusa Support" were of little help, other than to say "Oh, sorry".

I decided to buy the part from Prusa, rather than have to spend another 1/2 day reassembling the printer just to print the part.

Re: MK2.5 Printed parts

The supplied gcodes don't have supports and nowhere does it say to use them, surely from the slice its obvious?

Normally if supports are needed the convention is to mention it, not the other way around.
