Bed heating issue
Hi
When doing a print a few months ago the bed was not heating and the print failed and sed "MINTEMP error", I have checked the resistance of the bed and cable and its 1.2 ohm. The bed light is not on other during heating, The self test says there is thermistor or bed error so i switched the thermistor out and it still doesn't work. And now i'm stuck and don't know what the problem is
Also updated the firmware today no difference.
Sincerely Erik
RE: Bed heating issue
some questions:
If you start the printer (power button on), the firmware starts and then you come to an info screen.
Correct? Or do you already get the mintemp in this stage of the proces?
If there is infoscreen, you should be able to read the measured temps from nozzle and bed. What are those readings?
If bedtemp is not a value like about 25 degrees C, then the thermistor might be the problem.
I read you already changed that. You replaced the complete wiring or just partly? If partly also check the wiring (measure between begin and end of wire, near mainboard and near nozzle. )
We will do what we have always done. We will find hope in the impossible.

PS:
Read this https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/original-prusa-i3-mk3s-mk3-hardware-firmware-and-software-help/mintemp-error-heater-thermistor-error-on-bed-selftest/#post-646335
it explains how to make a test_thermistor using a resistor of 100 ohm.
This might be handy for you to find where the problem is seated in your machine

RE: Bed heating issue
The bed thermistor and the hotend thermistor both show 28 degrees C.
I changed the complete wearing.
