Why am I seeing layers opposite to expected?
Why do i seem to view layers in reverse? (Layer 1 shows whole object, top layer shows only 1 (top) layer... isn't it supposed to show opposite? (layer 1 only one layer, then up one, show 2 layers, etx ???)

You can drag both the top and/or bottom orange triangle slider to modify the sliced view. In your case your dragging the bottom. Sounds like you're wanting to drag the top one instead.

What @BaconFase said. Plus, you can click on the pad lock icon below the slider and then drag only one layer at a time.
