Slicing in Fusion 360
Does anyone do slicing in Fusion 360? We would like to do our slicing and post-processing on Fusion 360. We have multiple employers and multiple brands of printers, and it would be really nice if we could all use the same process. After I have adjusted the (more limited) machine and print settings to what the recommended settings are for the XL, I have noticed some differences and problems when slicing from Fusion 360, the post processing seems to do some things differently. The bed leveling has failed a few times, and I can tell it is different from the bed leveling in the Prusa Slicer. I have also had a problem with the filament getting jammed, then not coming out. I'm not sure what is causing this yet; all of the problems are coming from fusion and not Prusa from what I can tell. Is there a way to get the Fusion Slicer up to snuff?
I am aware that the Prusa Slicer is better with more options, optimized for the Prusa printers. For most of our prints, I want some basic print settings in Fusion 360 that anyone here can hit print without exporting. If there are any harder prints needing supports or optimization, I will use the Prusa Slicer and slice them myself.
RE: Slicing in Fusion 360
I have a picture of the code that is used for the bed leveling that has been failing.
