Significant Bow in Heat Bed? How to fix?
I'm just assembling an XL for our school from the semi-assembled kit. It has all gone surprisingly well, and I have been checking for square as I go, etc. Was glad to see there was a feeling of the uprights kind-of slotting into position when they were right.
Anyway, screwing the heat bed down in the cross pattern indicated, the screw holes were significantly off. Meaning, 3 to 6mm. Not enough to permanently warp anything, so I proceeded to pull things into line and tighten down. On measuring the flatness of the bed though, it is flat left-to right, but a straight edge laid down front to back has a 6mm gap in back when the front is toughing the heat plate.
This can't be right... The heat plate is fairly flat when not screwed down, and the supports do not appear to be bad. Though the right support may be mounted crooked (?). Anyway, I released the tension pending feedback. Is there something I can loosen in the frame or rails to let this settle in, or is further diagnostic needed?

On further inspection, this is a poor description of the problem. The bed itself is perfectly flat when not under the stress of mounting. The actual problem is that the bed support is not lining up with the mounting holes. And yet everything looks square. So I'm going to mark this as obsolete, and make a new thread with a better description and better questions.
