How long should a "tap" be in a load cell test?

When I contacted Prusa tech support about the bed leveling failing I was asked, "Please film a loadcell test: I'd like to observe if a gentle tip of your finger is enough to pass it or if it's necessary to press harder." So, I did, but I'm not sure if I did it right. Here was my response:

Here you go:

I'm not completely sure if my gentle taps were too soon or not, or if they were too quick. I think all but one was after the beep. Seemed like I got errors from quick (?) taps from the back of my finger but not from my thumb, which I didn't think was pushing all that firmly.

Seems like when I did quick taps with my Prusa MK4 -- which so far has worked just fine, quick taps also seemed to get the error message that I didn't tap the nozzle or tapped it too soon.

Keeping my finger on the nozzle a little longer, maybe about as long as the printer normally probes with the nozzle, mollifies the Prusa MK4 ... but that also seems to work with the Prusa XL as well ... I think, maybe?

Generally, I think of a tap as brief, not something where even light pressure lasts that long, but I'm not sure what the writers of the load cell test had in mind.

Are you using firmware 6.4.0?

Not at this time. I'm still waiting for a further reply from support, and I'm cautious about making further changes without feedback from them.
