I have advertise day of annonce 2 personne .
I had said: Pre-order and think after.
Only my have make order first day . Other personne need between 2 and 5 days for make order.
And a lot of people are going to cancel pre-orders in my opinion.

There will be cancellations for sure, but once first units start to get to the typical influencers, we may see another wave of orders going on...

There are 1.3K members of the Facebook "Prusa XL Users Group". Pre-order is not a requirement to join the group, so that might not be a perfect indicator. I joined just before I did my pre-order.
I would guess atleast 1000 Preorders so far. I doubt many have canceled.

On orders, I think more people will add things to the order and slow things rather than cancel their order.

I ordered under the assumption that the XL will start shipping between July - September. I don't have any immediate "need" for the XL, so I'm using this time to find said need 😛

Yes, the build, change, rebuild is a pain- but at least now the machine will recalibrate itself!!!
I got to rolls of PC fiber to play with. I’d like to preprint some parts that would be key to higher temp usage than PETG parts would allow.

I've never been involved in a Prusa pre-order before, but, I certainly hope they'd limit how many they ship to one person at one time. I realize $100k is quite an order, but, that sure seems like it'd make a lot of problem for everyone behind them in line. Not saying they should only get one, but, getting all 50... I dunno.

yeah I'm sure I'll want to print some parts in something other than in prusa orange lol. But I may do that after I've had a chance to mess with it in it's unadulterated form first lol

Thats part of the pre-order plan I guess.... See if they can fulfill orders such as that and not create a bottleneck in production/logistics...

Unlikely that the models will be released before the product is well into the initial shipping as they are going to be careful not to let the clones beat them to market this time...

In my experience, Prusa will keep it fair by fulfilling in order of receipt. Also, as much as I'd love to get my machine as early as possible, I have to imagine that they would take an agnostic approach. Unless stated otherwise, if I order 50 of something, I'd be pretty upset if I only received 1. Especially given the unit pricing.

yeah but I would something other than orange or black. My current two printers have an autobot/decepticon thing going lol. autobot blue and decepticon purple by Paramount3d.
