Kudos on that, they're being terribly slow on releasing that! 🙁

Not at the moment. We currently operate off of the USB sticks, and I have been anxiously awaiting the future network connectivity updates for the Mini+. I've been dying to get a legit dashboard for the print farm 😎

I use "23 Dec 2021" if I can, and 2021-12-23 otherwise (ISO...).

20211223 is what I use.  Who wants a 2121 issue in 100 years?

I used to get hung up on this but now that I know computers and file organization, it should probably be year-month-day.  I accept it for what it's worth and move on from my preconceptions.

Hmmmm... I now suspect that some of Prusa's software is 'helpfully' displaying the date in local format depending on where it thinks the user is, but some of it isn't.  One of the hidden gotchas that go with buying in software.

Cheerio,

I deal with incoming models and files all the time.  If I received a file today it would go in a folder called 211223 PRUSA.  Any other format would be illogical.

The problem with that file format is that when you sort by file name.  Sort by file name will give you December before September and you should want the other way around.

When is their farm system planned on shipping?  That will take precedence since it is more business/Corp focused and they need to hit dates to stay viable strategically.  XL is more hobbyist focused.  I think July, with a  EU vacation break in AUG slowing things down.  I think I’ll be finally working mine up by Thanksgiving, hopefully.  IF it is here by Xmas is the real break for me, after that, I won’t have time to really get into it for a few months.

MK3/MMUs ran 2-3 months late?

They can probably get out dribs and drabs now, but to get out the first pre-orders and a 2-3 week standard lead time? 2023.

I do not think it will run into 2023.  My guess is March to July.

Q2-Q3 is indicated on the web page, so that covers April thru September.

First releases tend to be fraught with delays and June thru August is school holidays (or winding down for), so I'm plumping for September.

My wild guess is that the first units won't ship before Q3, at best. As I haven't preordered (yet ), in all likelihood even if I place my order today I'd had to wait at least until 2023.

Q3 of the Christian year? Trek year? Arthurian year? LV4226 year?

My official guess is delivery by January 9th 2022. What is it today's date?

I better go check the mailbox anyway.......... 🙂

I think it will 2023 before they are up and running with standard stock lead times of 2-4 weeks, which seems common for printers now.  It will be interesting to see the backlog on these since they are about 10X more expensive than the Mini which was the last launch.
