support enforcer not included in my print

I have a Prusa XL. I used the tools and created two support enforcers exactly where I need them . I am working with a stl file. Then when I export it to G code, it is not there . I have the "generate support material" box checked and the "auto generate supports" box unchecked . All other items are left to default values.

The stl file is listed under it's original name. underneath it as I create support enforcers, they are listed as generic boxes. Do I have to export the generic boxes to become stl files, then combine with my original stl file?

I looked at another setting "enforce support for the first x layers" the default is 0. I suppose if I put 100 layers in that setting, it might create the support enforcers.

Any ideas are appreciated.

Are you trying to support 'Bridges'  ?

do you have 'Don't support Bridges' enabled, in the 'support material' section of 'Print Settings' ?

Best is to upload a zip compressed 3mf of this project. Could be settings,  but there are also some common misconceptions of how enforcers and blockers work. With the 3mf file we can see what's going on.

I was able to print my support enforcer. Must have had that 'Don't support bridges enabled" checked.

Thank you
