Pre-order Confirmation issues

I placed my order as soon as I woke up after the announcement.  Full kit, un assembled.  I got an order confirmation.

CWbullet said that he had a ship date. Probably a queuing tool, but at least something. When I went to check on my order, there was an orange button to pay the deposit fee????  I checked my credit card and I didn’t have a Prusa charge, but after I pressed the button and put my credit card info in, it appeared on my card.

So I chat with CS and they say that they order priority is from when it is ordered and paid- so what does that mean for me?  I never got an answer., but they implied that I was at the back of the line, suck it up, its not that bad.  So I sent the ‘confirmation’ to CS and we’ll see if they honor the original.

Last night I did get the three emails that other people have mentioned.

I’m going to be PISSED if I lost 36 hours or priority.

Did anyone else have this issue?  Are you sure?  I got a confirmation email when I placed the order.  I thought that was that.  Imagine if I had waited until next April to find out that I didn’t actually have a valid order.

RE: Pre-order Confirmation issues

I had the same issue on the payment.
On pre-order I put the (correct) credit card info in, but the order completed without normal second level confirmation as it use to do when using Visa.
I got suspicious and checked my order on-line at the shop and it was listed as unpaid. To keep the order, I then selected to pay and this time I got the normal second level payment confirmation and the order was now listed as paid.

Yesterday I contacted Prusa on on-line chat to make sure the order was only paid once and they confirmed that the order was correctly paid once.

I also got a lot of mails (2 + 1 + 1 = 4 until now) with invoice attached.

I think it is their new ordering system that has hick ups.

Have a look at my models on Printables.com 😉

RE:

I’m OK with hiccups, I just want the correct priority point in time.

It was unclear what exactly my spartan line is at. And I didn’t seem to really be concerned

RE: Pre-order Confirmation issues

I got an email response from Prusa, they said that the order date, not my prepayement date should be the one that sets my point in the preorder line.  I’m not thrilled about the ‘should’, but we’ll see.  At least I checked it and got it updated, and not in July of next year…
