Tiny XL wifi cable is driving me nuts
I am trying to connect the tiny wifi connector to the board and I feel like I'm doing something wrong. I've been at it for half an hour and I just can't seem to get it connected. Is there a trick to this?

Place it directly over the socket and press down quite firmly. It does take a bit of pressure for it to click into place.

Man, that sucked but I finally got it. Thanks.

Here's a tip that has helped me. From the page, "There is a little trick to the installation of the antenna, if you press down hard on it directly, you will find it very difficult to press and your fingers will hurt! The correct way to install the antenna is to put one side of the antenna connector into the connector block first, then press down a little on the other side, and the antenna will be installed." The picture in the link shows the move.

Thanks. What a PITA that was.

It can be tricky! First, make sure the tiny connector is lined up perfectly with the board's socket. Sometimes, they require gentle pressure to click in, but don’t force it. Try using tweezers to get a better grip and ensure it's aligned correctly. If it still doesn’t work, check if there's any debris or if the pins are bent. Patience is key—keep trying with small adjustments!

The infamous UFL connector. Also a pain in the rear for mobile phone and laptop assembly. I'm glad you've got yours installed but here's the recommended method for anybody else suffering with these devil connectors.
Pinch the cable between thumb and finger of the right hand, use this to manoeuvre the connector above the socket, then hold down gently with the left index finger. Try wobbling the connector back and forth. If it wobbles it's not centred so do NOT push down. Keep adjusting until it's precisely above the socket and doesn't wobble. Only then push straight down until it clicks.
A headband magnifier is invaluable when installing these cursed things.
