How do I add the XL to PrusaConnect?

Hi, I'm stuck, adding the new XL to PrusaConnect.

The documentation says:

https://help.prusa3d.com/guide/adding-the-printer-to-prusa-connect-xl_420001#420110

I can generate a prusa_printer_settings.ini from the site, but this option is missing.

On PrusaConnect Add Printer site I can enter a printer code.

Where do I obtain this code?

On the XL Menu itself I can select a menu item Add to PrusaConnect. But this fails everytime I try it (Firmware 4.7.1).

Any thoughts?

A few of us have had issues- see thread here https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/introcuctions-instrutctions/new-xl-and-connecting-to-prusa-connect/#post-664130

Essentially:

Make sure you either do a factory reset, or put the dummy code on the USB stick, which will let you generate the QR code/registration code to enter in prusaconnect (through the printer menu, "add printer..." etc.
You can then register and download the .ini file with the needed settings to you USB stick.
Then take USB stick back to printer, go to prusaconnect menu, load configuration.

In PrusaLink for the same XL printer, I only see a "Not Connected" with an info bubble. When hovering it, the tooltipp text is empty, so nothing to win here as well.

Great, thank you guys. The trick with the .ini worked for me as well.

But to be honest, I'm expecting that Prusa itself takes care that this information reach their customers through any proactive channel.

Not in a user helps user forum. Especially for their long awaited flagship product.

prusa_printer_settings.ini

[service::connect]

hostname=buddy-a.connect.prusa3d.com

tls=True

port=443
