Yes, but

AFAIK, that's just a standard Raspberry Pi Zero W with soldered on header pins. So you can use it, but you'd have to desolder the header pins first.

Found w

Found a supplier that still had 2 w in stock and got those overnight to me.

Did they also have unobtanium in stock too?

I can't find the Pi Zero W in the UK...  at least not at reasonable costs!  🙂 I'm a cheapskate

Yes

I am also in the UK and could only find the Pi Zero WH. I de-soldered the existing header pins and replaced with 18mm pins. Works perfectly fine.

Unfortunately,
At the moment we are suffering Internet hell.
we are on our fourth router... awaiting our fifth router...

we are getting disco light type displays off the router, huge numbers of disconnects and next to no download speed...   less that 750Kbps
Upload speed is no problem 16+ Mbps...

the engineer reckoned the line to the house was delivering 75MB/s download... he disconnected everything bar the router and an ethernet PC and still we were seeing next to no download data capacity.
we then tried a laptop via wireless,  and that was trash too. the wireless laptop works fine on my Mobile data hotspot...

there has been little opportunity to sort the RasPi... so far... 🙁
the computers were a Ryzen Gaming PC, and an Intel i7 machine with a good spec
so it's not likely to be a lack of processing power

think I'll play with my Arduino's for a while

regards Joan

The RasPi Zero 2 W is a drop-in replacement for the older Zero W.

Where did you guys find 18mm headers? I'm in the US and can only find 19mm or 20mm. Did you just cut yours?

Usually, retailers that usually sell Raspberry Pi's usually also sell the associated accessories...

I just bought 20mm and cut them down after soldering it.  Super easy.
