Prusalink Says Old Firmware

Recently Acquires a Originial i3 MK3, i just finished flashing firmware to the 3.13, and installed my raspberry pi zero with latest prusalink, once i logged on the website to access the printer is tells me i still have a old firmware installed, i reflashed the printer and to confirm got into the setting in printer and it states that its running 3.13, and retried to log into website and still specify running old firmware? what do you guys think is the problem ?

RE: Prusalink Says Old Firmware

Hi, are you using the MMU?
If not, how is your Printer connected? USB or GPIO pins?
The error is probably a fluke created by the way error codes are done in PrusaLink.
Sorry about that

okay, Let's talk here.
It's GPIO pins. Is the RPi port set to on in the printer settings menu?
Probably yes.

Which one of these is shown?
"Unfortunately your printer is not supported or running old firmware. To download the latest firmware, visit ..."
"Firmware is not up-to-date, please update it! You can download the latest stable firmware at ..."

RE: Prusalink Says Old Firmware

That is the less cryptic one of the two, still cryptic tho. That would mean either. You have an old version of PrusaLink - the one before autodetecting ports was a feature, or you set the port manually, which seems unlikely.
The state it's in suggests your printer did communicate with the Pi but suddenly, the communication stopped before it properly initialised.
Could you try flashing the image again using this image file? https://github.com/prusa3d/Prusa-Link/releases/download/0.7.0/prusalink-0.7.0.img.gz
Also, does wiggling the pi in its slot cause the printer to randomly reboot? That would be a sign of a loose contact somewhere in the pins.

No problem. It is weird this happens. I never caught it doing that personally, so it's not clear to me why it happens. Hope the rest will work as expected
