Prusa Link error on Prusa Slicer 404
Each time I try to print from the prusa slicer, to prusa link I now get: PrusaSlicer encountered an error: Error uploading to print host: HTTP 404: 404: Not Found.
It was working fine. I rebooted my PC and the printer, same issue.
Although I see the error, the print start normally on the printer.
Any clue?

Welp, you being able to reproduce it every time, does not mean we can. Anyway, it should be fixed and will be in the 5.0.0 release, but it most likely did not make it into the input shaper alpha

We know about the error. It's not been easy to hunt down tho. I've seen some fixes being attempted but I am not sure if a fix is in an upcoming FW update or not.

Thks, what do you mean by hunt to? I can repro this everytime, happy to provide any log or a wireshark trace if it helps.

I've been having the same issue with PrusaLink on my MK4 while PrusaLink has still been working on my Mini. Have tried rebooting the computer, restarting the printer, unplug and replug the USB, de-activate and re activate PrusaLink in the printer settings, and closing and reopening the PrusaLink browser tab all with no luck.
Today I removed some of the files from the USB drive and now it works to transfer files again.
RE: Prusa Link error on Prusa Slicer 404
Hi, could you send me, or describe the files you removed? Any special characters in names? Or anything else unusual about the files worth mentioning, so we could try and reproduce the issue. Thank you
RE: Prusa Link error on Prusa Slicer 404
Sorry, I didn't pay close attention to which files I removed. I do know there were not any special characters in the name, I don't use special characters in any of my gcode file names. If I start to have the problem again I'll pay more attention to what I am removing and at what point transferring files starts to work again.

Tojik, I just encountered this repeatedly and worked out it was the ‘%’ symbol that caused the transfer over Prusa Link to fail. Thought I’d pass it on in case it helps.
Jason.
Thank you

I realized I was getting this error because I had a double quote in the filename.
0.5" pipe connector
maybe the error code can be written to include the situations where illegal characters are used.
RE: Prusa Link error on Prusa Slicer 404
Yes! Thank you. That solved it for me.

Hello Tojik, I still encounter the same problem when printing a file with " in the name.
Thank you to other posters in this thread who allowed me to solve the error.

I suddenly had to reformat the USB drive
