Problems Logging in to Prusa Link on MK4
I set up WIFI according the instructions. I navigated to the IP address and got the log in dialog. Before logging in, I regenerated the password. I then attempted to login with the credentials and kept getting the log in dialog back. On the printer under Prusa link, there's an option called enable or enabled. I moved the slider to the right IIRC and was able to login and see the printer state and the files on the USB. At some point, I got logged off. The was on and idle when I logged on and when I got logged off. Now I can no longer log in. I'm using Safari on MacOS Monterey and Ventura, two different computers. I just started a two hour print so can't do anything at the moment, assuming you respond immediately. I just got the MK4 a few days ago and it is on the latest driver release

Hi, I certainly hang around, but that was 2AM over here. Anyway, this is usually a problem on mac. So far, the only solution was to try over and over. For us, the solution seems to be to completely change the authentication we use. That seems to not have a lot of support right now. Sorry about the trouble it's giving you

Thanks. I can get by without it for now. I have to print 50-100 of the same model, each taking over 2 hours so it will be some time before I have to load a new model

I‘m using 5.0.0 Alpha 2 Firmware and have the same Problem.
MK4 is connected by WiFi (Ubiquiti Unifi Dream Router).

Hi, it,s not your network setup. It's probably some weirdness with the way macs handle digest authentication.

I tested it with Chrome on Windows 11 22H2 with 2023-06 Patches and iOS 16.5 and chrome.
Same Problem.
If I try the credentials 5-10 times, I can log in

Hmm, wonder what the difference is between your and my setup, that this keeps happening to you. Is there any extension that could be causing this? What about an anonymous tab? Is it happening there too?

Same here. It seems to be a problem with Safari on Mac. I tried several times - no success. With another browser (Brave) it works for me: login successful.

Came here because I also could not login (Safari on an iMac). I tried FireFox which worked. Then I tried a private window in Safari. The first attempt failed, the second worked. It would be nice if this was fixed. Let me know if there is something I can do to help troubleshoot.

If you open a Private window in Safari and try to login the first time it will fail. Then enter the login credentials again and it will work. Awkward but it is a workaround for now. I've done this on macOS and iPadOS.

Problem solved (Mac Safari): enable Popups in preferences.

I tried logging in with a private window in Safari on MacOS Ventura multiple times and it didn't work. I then tried Firefox and it did.

Hi, it's complicated. PrusaLink for the MK4 is part of the FW - that would mean issues go into here: https://github.com/prusa3d/Prusa-Firmware-Buddy/issues
But there is a web part that gets programmed separately and that's here: https://github.com/prusa3d/Prusa-Link-Web/issues
Given this, people get confused and a lot of issues ends up in here: https://github.com/prusa3d/Prusa-Link/issues that's PrusaLink for the older firmware. 😁

Hi, same for me Safari@iOS does not work (screen for entering username and password shows up over an over again).
- iCabMobile browser works.
- Firefox mobile worked after the second attempt.
