MK3S+ doing nothing
Hello, sorry if this has been covered before.
I've setup the SD card as required (with PrusaLink 0.6.0), I inserted the RPi Zero 2 W in the printer (which is running 3.10.0), turned on the RPi port setting and ... nothing. The printer didn't show anything on the home screen as the guide suggests in Step 12. It's been well over 10 minutes.
Did anyone have this issue? I didn't really want to pull the RPi and connect it to the computer...
RE: MK3S+ doing nothing
Nevermind, it seems the brand new RPi is dead. Problem solved.
RE: MK3S+ doing nothing
Does the RPi boot when you power it using the USB connector?
I find that with the RPi PCB you need to really check your solder connections after soldering the pins.
The solder will not stick easily to the PCB and the solder sticks to the pins but does not make a good connection to the PCB.
I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious
RE: MK3S+ doing nothing
Was the issue only with your RPi? I have the same issue. The RPi starts I can also reach the Website via hostname, but printer shows nothing.
RE: MK3S+ doing nothing
Had the same issue (rpiZeroW) - realized had forgotten to turn on Rpi Port to "on" in printer settings menu (via lcd). I was able to access http://prusalink.local but printer LCD did not show anything. Hope you have not added any custom files accidentally following the additional posts for rpi3/4. .... For RpiZeroW - just flash the SD card as per instructions and as long as all the pins are well connected to the motherboard and pi lights up etc... that's pretty much it.

RE: MK3S+ doing nothing
In my case, the RPi is dead. No usb accessory is detected when I connect it to the PC (nor it boots anything if I connect a monitor to it). Hopefully nothing related to my soldering skills or the printer board connection 🙂
I'll need to order another one after the New Year's.
RE: MK3S+ doing nothing
Okay thanks all of you. Checked everything and reflashed the SD card. Resoldered the pins. I doubt that there was any issue, but now it's working.
This “5 minutes” until the Pi is ready are serious. I would say 8-10 are better..
