Problems with outer walls and infill
I've been having problems with the 5.1.0-alpha1 Input Shaping firmware. It's like it only under extrudes on that side of the print and inside, but not on the other sides, as shown in the pictures. I am open to suggestions. (And yes, I have the Prusa Mini Base.) 😊
RE: Problems with outer walls and infill
Hi! I have exactly the same problem.
And the same printer
Have you found a solution?
RE: Problems with outer walls and infill
Not really
RE: Problems with outer walls and infill
To me, that looks like underextrusion. Normally I'd say bump temperatures, but it's only happening in one portion of the print.
Funny question... have you checked your bowden tube, specifically at the extruder connection? I'm wondering if the compression in the right-ward direction may possibly be kinking the tube somewhere, causing the filament line friction to jump.
RE: Problems with outer walls and infill
Hello again!!
Apparently my tube is bent (probably worn out) at the top.
If you remove the tube from the printer and run filament through it, you will notice excessive friction with the tube bent to the right and less friction with the tube bent to the left.
So I ordered 2 tubes and in the new tubes, in both positions the friction is much lower. Also, if you use a clearly visible filament you will notice that the filament is not located in the middle of the tube at the top of the path.
So I replaced the tube, printed the same gcode and the problem is gone.

Hi, besides of checking PTFE tube, the longer one needs to be replaced after some +/-35kg, it will print better with updated firmware, alpha version is just alpha version, not production one, and there were already important updates since then.
