How do you do all of this? (Walkthrough)

I have searched all over and I can't find anywhere that explains how to "do" this.  What I mean is:

-I think I have to put a new firmware on the MINI - how do I do that?

-I found a spot where I can download a .ZIP file... but what do I "do" with this?  The zip contains a bunch of files that all look the same, I assume those go on the USB stick?

-Something about having to enable something in PrusaSlicer?

I just feel like there has to be a walkthrough somewhere but for the life of me I can't find it.  Any ideas?

I figured it out on my own.

For anyone else who was confused, like me, you have to:

  1. Go here: https://help.prusa3d.com/downloads
  2. Scroll down to "ORIGINAL PRUSA MINI+"
  3. Click the link for the Firmware
  4. Download the ZIP file
  5. Unzip the ZIP file
  6. The ZIP file contains many different seemingly identical files - all say "English" and then some other language on them.  I think you can just pick any of them if you only need English, so that's what I did.  (I picked English and French)
  7. Copy this file onto a USB stick.  Make sure there is no other file on the USB stick with the same type of file extension
  8. Put the USB stick in your printer, and reboot it (turn it off/turn it on or press the reset button)
  9. It will ask you if you want to flash new firmware, say yes/ok.  It'll do its thing
  10. In Prusa Slicer, you have to upgrade it to be able to use the Input Shaping.  To do that you click on Configurations, and then have to go through a whole bunch of windows to re-add a new printer basically.
  11. You will end up with a regular printer (no input shaping) and a new printer which HAS input shaping, and then when you slice your files, you can pick from a drop-down which one you want to use.

(I feel like someone way more experienced should have/could have posted that months ago or put up a simple 2 minute video showing how to do this, rather than let people stumble around on their own hoping they don't brick their machines.)
