Gap between infill and perimeters.

Hello,

With PrusaSlicer 2.7.2 and the Mini with 5.1.2+ firmware, I'm printing some pieces of PLA with the 0.20mm SPEED @MINIIS 0.4 settings (Input Shaping).

First layer, 30 mm/s => Perfect

Second layer, 140 mm/s => Nice surface, but gap between infill and perimeters, see picture below.

Do you know what can I do to resolve this issue ?

Thanks,

R.

RE: Gap between infill and perimeters.

Input shaper is pretty particular about printer adjustment and calibration.

I would adjust the extruder tension and extrusion multiplier, then the k factor for input shaper.

The hot end moves very fast, and if the extruder tension is not adjusted, it can skip when it didn't before moving slower. It is also very sensitive to the extrusion multiplier being correct. Then, the input shaper k factor adjustment allows it to extrude the same amount (line width) independent of speed and acceleration. Seams are still an issue but is being worked as referenced in the thread below.

All this discussed here:

Regards,
