Auto Bed levelling failing on 6th test point

Hi All,

Just updated my Mini+ to the Alpha firmware and have sliced a file using the new Input Shaping profile on Prusa Slicer. I have noticed my Mini is now pressing into the bed when auto bed levelling on point 6. All test other test points are working well. Bed is flat and I have tried both the Texutred PEI and smooth sheets.

Anyone else having this issue?

Hi repod,

check cable looks in point 6 there is wrong signal. Maybe there is some short-cross from Pinda i have similar problem and i have my Pinda to high.

If connection with Pinda is OK check this setup: https://help.prusa3d.com/guide/height-adjustment-of-m-i-n-d-a-superpinda-sensor-mini-_154547

Thanks for the help. Unfortunately the printer was working great before the firmware update, I even did a test benchy so I could compare speeds before and after. The printer hasn't been changed in any way other than the software update.

Seems odd that the hardware would just happen to fail at the same time as a firmware update.

I did just try re-adjusting the Pinda Probe, but unfortunately made no difference, still presses into the build plate on the 6th point it probes.

RE: Auto Bed levelling failing on 6th test point

Update:

Downgraded back to 4.4.1. - Bed levelling and printing works perfectly again

Updated firmware back to Alpha 5.1.0 - Auto bed levelling fails on 6th Point.

I'm also noticing that on Firmware 4.4.1 the levelling starts from the front of the build plate, but on 5.1.0 it starts at the rear. I'm assuming by design, but perhaps it related.
