Switch to pla to flex
Normally i print with pla. Now I need to. print with esun flex. What procedure I need to change or I just need to change material to general flex? Thank you 😊
RE: Switch to pla to flex
No other procedure than ordinary is needed. Regular Flex will work for loading the filament. After that Be careful to change all your settings in your slicer. Also it would be recommended if its your first time printing with Esun Flex to print a temp tower to see if you need to adjust the default profile parameters.

Thank you 😀
The seller suggest me to decrease print speed(many parameters) and stop retraction.
All went well except flex stick to pei smooth plate. Luckily my print do not have big base.
Now I use glue stick to resolve that.
Ps how to use temperature tower?
Thank you advance
RE: Switch to pla to flex
I let mine cool down for a bit before removing and I didn't have issue with extreme sticking so far.
Here you can find some useful information about the heat tower and how to slice it.
Also be sure to adjust your tension screw as Flex materials need less tension on your extruder idler screw than PLA or PETG.

No different procedure than the regular one is needed.
You have to just change the material. That is it. Nothing else.

Thank you, I also read suggestion from prusa but adjust less tension is very wide value to try. What is proper tension and how should I know?

I turned my tension screw 4 times anticlockwise in order to have better results with the flex filament. That's how I set my tension with a TPU filament having shore hardness 94A.
