slicer failure?

Trying to print https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:499177
Slicer seems to be filling in the coin holes.  Did I set something wrong?

RE: slicer failure?

No problem, I loaded all of the coin sorter platforms into slicer and they all failed to slice as expected, so I right clicked on each of them, in 3D editor View, and chose Fix with the Netfab

and even though the slicer did not show any errors, Netfab fixed something, because afterwards all coin sorters sliced OK as you can see below.

Interesting fix, wasn't aware of that feature...  Do we know where the data does with that service?  Is there a privacy warning that I already clicked thru that covers that as a 3rd party service?  This is just something off of thingiverse, but if I was consulting on a commercial product, I'm not sure what exposure the customer data would be going thru...

I do what you are referring to, and you would not want to send your data or client data through if you have non comp or non disclosure agreements etc,, keep your work in house. As for the model from thingiverse based on the output you got when slicing, it probably had open ends meaning open edges that came from a poorly preformed boolean function, just a guess.
