Prusa MINI excessive stringing at higher Z height
I have new issue on Mini, printer started excessive stringing at higher Z height.
the side pillars has to be smooth, instead of there are lot of waves, and stringing between them, sometimes it starts at height 20mm, sometimes 15mm, or between them. Tried to increase speed and length of retraction, but no help. I cleanup the heatbreak and nozzle, checked teflon tube, and applied new paste between heatbreak and passive cooler, and also no change 🙁

Did you solve this?

Unfortunately nope. I tried to cleanup everything from the nozzle up to the way to the extruder gears. No help.
I returned my Mini to default state (removed bondtech heatbreak and dual gear extruder) and tried print again, the same issue.
I am going to sell this unfortunate printer.

Odd that it starts so high.

I'm having a similar issue - although mine isn't quite as dramatic
I'm noticing once prints get higher than 1-2cm the layers start to get weird - the first 1-2cm the layers look really even and smooth, but then above that the layers get a little uneven, and then the higher you go it really gets worse. A 12 hour print I did overnight, which is probably one of the taller things I've ever printed, got really bad and even brittle maybe 5 CM up, so brittle I broke it in pieces rather easily.

Just some thoughts. Have you changed the table the printer sits on or the pads on the bottom of the printer? Also check the 3 screws that attaches the x-z assembly to the base are not loose. A loose screw can result in movement of the column while printing that gets worse at higher Z positions.
