Printing a helix shape

Hi,

Just got a Mini and I am trying to print this design. It is meant to be a helix shape to move small parts along.

The top print was without a chamfer or support, middle print is with chamfer no support, and bottom print is with chamfer and support (as seen on the slicer

Any suggestions on how to improve the print?

I suspect this will print with no support al all.

Did PS report any errors?

I would agree, I have printed the same shapes without any need for supports. Please share share the STL file if you want to know for sure

Thanks for looking into this @towlerg @oxygen. Initially I thought it would print without supports, that is how I tried to design it. No errors during the slicing.

I was not able to attach directly, but here is a link:

How about paint-on support just for that last bit where the curve become horizontal? Or probably better lose the sharp corner with a chamfer.

Thanks everyone for all the help! I just realized what I was doing wrong: I did not have the right nozzle size in the slicer selected.
