Printed part dimensions
Newbie question here.
I designed this tap for a car hose.
Even though I designed it with a core diameter of 4mm the end result is 3.92mm.
Is that normal? Can I do anything to correct this ? I would guess its a combination of X and Y error but its the fault percentage normal for a 3d print?

RE: Printed part dimensions
You can try reducing the width of Print Settings-->Advanced-->External perimeters to get more precision. Also, try reducing your overall flow rate if you suspect over-extrusion.
RE: Printed part dimensions
Additionally, make sure you are exporting your STL with sufficient resolution. Circles get converted to polygons so you want a lot of vertices. Unless it is a very large highly detailed model you won't run into file size issues.
Also if you really want a nice fit, get a set of metric drill bits or reamers and use them to reach final dimension (in which case you can probably leave your print settings as-is if you are otherwise satisfied).
Finally, since you claim to be a newbie, I would offer this advice I learned the hard way. *Do not* be tempted to compensate for the inaccuracies of your printer in your drawings (i.e. make your i.d. 4.08 in the drawing). Especially if you plan to share your models. I used to do this on my first (non-Prusa) printer and those models only worked well on that (poorly tuned) printer - had to tweak them all back when I got a new printer. Draw what you want and learn to get the printer to print it. The error you are seeing is fairly normal for an un-tuned printer but you can definitely improve on it.
RE: Printed part dimensions
Thank you for your answer.
I didnt think about the resolution even though I had seen it before. I will not change the values in my designs thats a good rule. So far the prints on the Mini are pretty decent at least for me since this is my first printer. But as I move forward it try to pay attention to details. Little by little I will make all the adjustments needed to get a totally satisfying result. So far so good.
