Print size wrong

Needed a 18mm diameter plug but printing it in PETG it turned out to be just 16mm.... Used Prusaslicer to create the cylinder. Any idea why?

Same problem here. Printed a 20mm diamter ring in PETG and it was 14.77mm

I think it's partly due to Slicer 2.2.0. I noticed my prints came out tapered towards the bed.

The Slicer preview showed that final part was under 20mm diameter  when sliced

Have you checked the dimensions of the STL file? 2mm deviation is possible if the STL was not exported correctly or scaled. Which partsize do you see in the slicer?

That is "elephant foot compensation". I found it too aggressive, so I turned it down a notch.

General comment, if you have problem with a specific print, then it helps a lot to post the STL/3MF file and gcode, otherwise we are guessing in the dark.

It won't be the PrusaSlicer, rather the settings. We could help faster if more detailed information. e.g. pictures, screenshots or a video would be available. We are sitting far away and do not know your circumstances - grope in the dark 🤓

RE: Print size wrong

part size was correct in slicer. Settings were default 0.15 QUALITY Prusament PETG settings for i3 MK3. What's the best way of attaching STL / gcode files? size is only 500kb

Load the STL into Prusa Sliacer,
set up your preferred parameters,

go to the files menu,

select 'save project as'
Note which directory the file is going to be put in,
give an appropriate name to the project,
save the file. (this will create a .3mf file of the chosen name, on the chosen directory)
then zip the file into a compressed file, then load the Zipfile in here

...also this is the MINI sub-forum, but you apparently have a mk3 ?
