Periodic underextrusion, leading to repeated lines?

Okay, new problem.

My prints are coming out with missing lines in most layers - which can be seen as a repeated pattern on horizontal surfaces.

it’s particularly bad with this filament (Overture Matte), but it'll do it with other brands too.  The gaps can leave thinner-walled items very brittle, and I’ll need to reprint this whole lot once I have it running happily again.

There is also an issue - which may be linked - with the retractions, which shows up on the corners of one print where there are layer changes.

The nozzle is 0.6mm.  I’ve done cold pulls to clear any clogs, and they come out clean as a whistle.  I’ve cleaned out the extruder.  And I’ve checked the hot end PTFE tube.  The filament has been in the dryer for four days, so it’s probably not that (plus the issue can be replicated across different filaments).

I’ve tried upping the temperature, which makes it a bit less awful but still not good enough.

I know I’m supposed to upload the Gcode, but that’s all on a different computer right now.

Any ideas - or easy fixes??

Does it print as badly with other colours?  White can be tricky.

Don't post the gcode, instead save your project as a .3mf file

Files > Save Project as

Zip the .3mf and post it here. It will contain both your part and your settings for us to diagnose.

Thanks.  The filament is actually beige rather than white (although I know what you mean about white - and black.  And grey.  All three colours have sometimes been "problematic" for me).

I got good results on a couple of prints I did overnight by cranking the temperature up to 230!  And without the anticipated stringing or oozing that I had expected from going that hot.  So either I have some dodgy filament or the hotend isn't getting hot enough.

White and pale/pastel colours contain far more pigment than darker colours and this can effect flow characteristics.  One frequent suggestion is to try printing hotter so you may have stumbled on a workaround.
