PC blend warping

So I recently started printing with PC-Blend. After a bit of printing I thought I was confident enough to print a bigger model (16h). At first everything seemd fine, but than the object warped so hard that it bend the bed (See Picture).

How could this be avoided in the future?

There is some advice on the blog post announcing the filament : https://blog.prusaprinters.org/prusament-pc-blend-our-new-filament-for-highly-durable-3d-prints_33511/ . You may also get some advice in this thread https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/english-forum-general-discussion-announcements-and-releases/review-prusament-pc-blend/

One thing Ive done in the past on my MK3 when the part caused the bed to lift away from the magnets (although not as extreme as that) was to use some book binder clamps on the edges.  Making sure that they didn't interfere with the bed movement of course.  They can help hold the bed down.

Of course with that much lift then it still might  not work.  I take it you are printing in a heated enclosure and making sure the temp is stable and there are no drafts then ?

Did you use the glue stick?

Charles did you look at the picture lol.
I don’t think the glue stick is going to make a tiny bit of difference. Unless you are suggesting the use of glue stick between the bed and heating PCB ?  Which I don’t think would work and is probably not good for it.
That part is so stuck to the bed, the adhesion is awesome. I don’t know how strong the magnets are on a mini’s bed but it takes some serious force to lift it away on a mk3 so the fact that it’s lifted the metal sheet away from the bed that much is impressive.

I am on my cell and cannot fully view the image with any quality.  The reason I ask: I did not use it on one of my older sheet that is prone to over adhesion.  It pulled the PEI off the Textured sheet when it warped.

I think you misunderstood what "did you use the glue stick" meant.  The glue stick is to add a layer so you do not get OVER adhesion.... and in some cases this layer aids in adhesion.  The point is, the bond between the sheet and the part is separated by glue.  The glue unbonds from the sheet easily, where as PC blend will bond so well directly to the sheet (when not using glue) that it will warp your sheet.

"Did you look at the picture" is not a great response to someone that just asked a question in an effort to help.  I'd be willing to bet $$$$$ that a glue stick was not used on this print that warped the bed.  Had a glue stick been used, it would have unstuck from the sheet when the part warped, and the sheet would have still been held in place by magnets.

Sorry that you will loose youre bet! But I used a lot of glue stick! Nearly half of the shipped stick. But even if the glue stick would have seperated the Print it would be ruined. Such prints simply wont work on the pmini. I ended up printing it on a friends Prusa Mk3 and it worked!
