Override 0 wall thickness on top layer in vase mode

Hi all,

I'm trying to print a cylinder that will slide over a tubing perfectly with no seam. When I print using seams it fits perfectly but has an ugly seam.

When I print in vase mode I get rid of the seam, the bottom slides over perfectly, but the top has a gap because it has a wall thickness of 0.

Does anybody know if it is possible for me to override the 0 wall thickness at the top? I've tried in settings, but this won't allow it. Is it possible to change the gcode to do this?

can you make the tube longer by the amount that you need extra?

Thank you for your suggestion @JoanTabb.  I found a workaround, it took a lot of work measuring and testing, but in the end I got a good solution for my needs.

I am 3d printing an inner sleeve and then 3D printing an outer sleeve in vase mode. The outer sleeve slides perfectly over the inner sleeve. I got the idea from laminating. 🙂

It works a treat for very simple cylinders, which is what I need it for.
