Newbie issues

I've had the mini+ for about a week now and overall prints great. I'm starting to branch out and test other types of models and started running into some issues like the below. Notice how the bottom corner is shrinking and peeling up. How do I precent this? All of the loose filaments on the bottom.

The pictured below is PLA with the default temp settings. I've also had similar issues on larger/thicker PETG prints.

There are several minor issues here:

You do not appear to be using supports for this print and there are several overhangs.

Your first layer Z configuration may be suspect.  Please show us a first layer Z calibration print on the print-sheet.

There are signs your filament is damp; dry it.

Sure, here are two of them that I did yesterday. These are specifically PETG, having similar issues with the peeling up of corners and general adhesion.

I'm not able to get a smooth final square with PETG, with PLA I can.

Both of them can go lower, the smooth sheet especially.  I see smears on both sheets too, they need to be clean for PLA.  With PETG they must first be clean; this is enough with the textured sheet but the smooth sheet needs then to have adhesion reduced or PETG won't come off - use either cheap window cleaner or a single wipe with gluestick spread evenly with wet tissue to make the thinnest possible layer.

Please remember that the two sheets will have different thicknesses and must not be mixed up.

Cheerio,
