Newbie, gaps between perimeters

Hi,

I'm very new to printing and my mini. I'm wondering if someone can advise what's going on with these gaps, they consistently appear on this edge.

Is there anything obvious I could do to solve this?

Have you removed top infill on the model? What material?

Hi,

Thanks. The material is PLA.

I didn't remove any top infill.

It seems like maybe the yellow perimeter path is conflicting with the orange external perimeter path.. I'm wondering if setting more or less vertical shell perimeters might help this? Strangely the 0.20mm quality setting set this to 2 but when you hover over the box it says the default value is 3 despite the locked symbol showing it's unmodified at 2

Which version of PrusaSlicer are you using?

There is a new 2.6.0 that has just been released.

RE: Newbie, gaps between perimeters

Common issue with the Mini. I'm still battling it and it goes back to my original prints after assembly.

Have replaced the PTFE tube in the heatbreak a few times which is a common cause.

Not sure if it's a stack up of issues or inherent in the design, but here are other threads:

Looking for m3ns?
