Holes in layers?
Hi all,
After doing several prints for a year now with the same filament, something strange happened to the last two prints.
I'm getting holes in my layers
The print was printed in this orientation, and I had supports for the big holes. I also encountered this in other parts of the print without supports.
I used PLA 215 degrees

Clog? Try a cold pull.
Filament with too much moisture? You said "a year now with the same filament", if it's truly the same spool, yeah, it could have picked up too much moisture and should be dried in the oven.

@fuchsr
I will try to do a cold pull, i'm just wondering why these holes are then all in the same area and not on other parts of the print?
RE: Holes in layers?
Did you ever fix the issue? I was having a similar issue and thought my filament could have absorbed moisture, but was getting the same results after drying it. It turns out my retraction was set too high (I was using the stock PrusaSlicer profile). It was set to somewhere around 3.2mm if I remember right. I set it to 2mm and the issue went away.
