Holes in extruded filament
Hello,
few days ago i had a print failure, the nozzle got clogged and the extruder milled the filament. So i took extruder apart cleaned it, unclogged nozzle and cleaned it as well + used cold pull method. Then I wanted to do a test print. But it didn’t go well as u can see on the photo. So i cleaned the nozzle again, removed and cleaned the PTFE hot end tube and the problem it’s still there. Filament is dry, tried another one, same problem. Any ideas? Thank you.
P.S. don’t mind the first layer, Z offset was not calibrated yet.

I forgot to change status to solved, I’m sorry. The problem was in the end wet filament. I changed nozzle and pfte hotend tube and the problem was still there. But then I tried completely new filament and it solved the problem. So basically I found out that my dryer doesn’t work. Thank u all for your tips.

Try a manual flush through: loosen off the extruder idler completely - temporarily disconnect the PTFE tube from the extruder - heat to the print temperature of the hottest printing filament you use. Take a metre of PLA and push it down through the hotend by hand - first slowly then as fast as it will go - finally pause for a second then pull out the end as fast as you can.
This procedure should dislodge any recalcitrant filament residues.

OK, let the hotend cool and reconnect/retension everything before calibrating.

thank you for your reply and advice, i forgot to mention that I did the “manual flush” during the cleaning process. Unfortunately it didn’t help.
I wonder if you damaged the nozzle when cleaning it ... try a new nozzle.
