Fusion filaments PLA and the MINI
Hi Everyone!
I am a newbie to 3D printing.
I just got my mini and 3 spools of PLA from Fusion Filaments.
1. Should I do the calibration with the Fusion Filament PLA or use the sample Prusa PLA that came with the min?
2. In prusaslicer do I select Prusa PLA or Generic PLA for the Fusion Filaments PLA?

I know nothing of fusion filaments, but I would calibrate with the prusa sample.
Select the prusa filament profile for the prusa, and generic PLA for the other.
Chances are, both will work equally as well with either profile in any case, but not necessarily.

Results will be OK with either of the Prusa-supplied profiles, but you can improve results by tweaking the profile to suit the physical characteristics of your new filament. You can start with either, then save it as a new filament profile. You'll want to calibrate the extrusion multiplier and temps for that filament, and possibly the Linear Advance "K" factor.

None of it is urgent. You'll be able to print just fine with Fusion filament using a default PLA profile as provided by Prusa. However, at some point you may want to create a custom filament profile if you're using a different filament. These settings can affect final print quality in minor ways:
If you encounter stringing or other issues, these tweaks can help. Otherwise, just use the Fusion Filaments PLA without worry.

With all due respect, this is very advanced and not really necessary. I've been printing with my mk3 for well over a year and not touched any of this and getting very good (IMHO) prints. I do primarily use the 'pretty' profiles however.
