First Layer Issues - Strange Pattern

Over time I noticed the bottom of my prints have been developing some inconsistent line extrusions. Below are some images of the front and back of a single layer test square. If anyone knows what the issue might be I would greatly appreciate the guidance.

An adjustment at -0.515 in height results in the corners of the square not fully sealing. At -0.510 I begin seeing the strange pattern.

You have set your Z value a fraction too low; the ideal value will gradually drift as the nozzle wears so recalibration is occasionally necessary but you have slightly overadjusted.

With some filaments, usually those with high pigment percentages (white/pastels), it can help to raise the bed temperature a few degrees.

Cheerio,

Thanks for the tip! I will make the adjustments and monitor. I've never heard about the pigment of filament changing the required temperature. Something else I will look out for 😀
