filament globs?

Hello! I have a Prusa Mini and have this issue. Does anyone know what could cause these filament globs to form? They seem to occur at different levels of a print. I have noticed one or two while the nozzle was over a middle/in fill section and was able to flick it off before the next layer was printed. Most of the time, however, they form on the edges like they did here. Any ideas on what the problem is and how I can fix it? Thanks in advance!

RE: filament globs?

It looks liek you have a layer shifts, on one of the first layers and later at the end.

I suspect you use grid infill, then try to change to rectilinear.

Check the nozzle if it is clean, not worn out and is perpendicular to the print bed ( especially if x axis is not twisted),  because this can lead to uneven extrusion and thus more filament going in one direction causing to create blobs.

See my GitHub and printables.com for some 3d stuff that you may like.

You are right. I do use grid infill. I'll try your suggestions. Thank you so much!

Have you changed nozzle recently?
Please show us your nozzle/hotend assembly from at least two angles.

Cheerio,
