Fiddly miniature, help needed!

So, I finally made my first ever 3D sculpt and it's proving to be a very difficult print. I've tried all the miniature printing tricks I've learned so far; slowing down, using a 0.25mm nozzle, extra supports, large brim, etc. But it fails every time. I am printing this in parts (crab body, shell, base and staff are all separate) and every time one of the legs, claws or whiskers gets knocked loose. In an effort to improve adhesion I even tried printing the crab on it's butt (which is flat where it comes into contact with the shell) but the nozzle messed up one of the whiskers again after 2.5h of printing. I know a resin printer is best for miniatures, but it's not in my budget nor do I have a dedicated space to avoid the fumes. I have got very good results on my mini+ before and have successfully printed over 20 minis of varying fiddlines. Any ideas on what I could try next? This picture is of the first version and I have since thickened the whiskers and legs. I'm using Prusament PLA with the recommended settings for it and the smooth sheet. I have the satin sheet and was planning on trying that next, but figured I'd ask for help here first. After 7 failed prints I'm at the end of my rope. At the current size the base is 50mm. 

Original artwork used as reference is by Rossimus Art, it's his Necromancer Hermit Crab and I'm doing the sculpt with his permission. I'll share it on Printables once I actually get it to print properly.
