Extrusion width in vase mode

Hi!

When printing in vase mode, should I also increase the extrusion width? How high can I go with the extrusion width (0.4 nozzle)?

Up to 120% of nozzle size is no problem. If you are using good quality nozzles, the flat around the nozzle will be wide enough that you can get away with up to 200% of your nozzle size. Larger than that and there may be some irregular edges as the filament squirts out the side around the nozzle.

Remember that wider extrusions may require adjusting maximum speeds.
