Y Axle Problems, Clack Clack Noise

Hi, I have recently a problem with the Y axis. After the 16 point calibration, the Y axis moves to the front right to warm up.... at this point it makes three times clack clack clack.... as if it wants to go over the target. See video:

Y axis also fails self test. So far, despite this error, all prints are fine.

However, I think that this noise does not sound healthy.

RE: Y Axle Problems, Clack Clack Noise

If your self test fails for the y axis, there is something wrong with the length of the axis - that's what the test is for. If you do not want to damage your printer, you should fix that.

Something is blocking the movement in front or in the rear (probably front). Move the bed all the way to the front and back (by hand, printer power off) and see what is restricting the movement.

If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.
Find out why this is pinned in the general section!

RE:

Sometimes the solution is so simple...

In the 16 point calibration on the first line (front) the bed is moving to the maximum in front. In this state the cable of the bed was holding from the central unit box.

What stupid thing 😉 I think I will model a new cover for the box to avoid that problem.

Thanks for your help 🙂
