X-axis datuming issue

I recently sold a Prusa Mini+. After the new owner re-assembled the machine, the X-axis fails to datum correctly. The head moves to home, clicks, and then just continues to make a grinding noise. I've not seen this behavior before, so I'm at a loss. I'm attaching the video they sent me. I'm hoping someone may have some insight on this one.

RE: X-axis datuming issue

This is just a guess, but I'm thinking either the gear isn't tightened on the x-axis enough, or the belt tension is too loose? Sounds like something is rubbing. It knows it is at the end of an axis because the motor current rises when the motor stalls, but it sounds like the motor is moving to make that noise, so that means either gear is slipping or belt is slipping. Slipping belt would be tension way too loose.

What exactly did you disassemble before you sold it?
