X axis calibration fails

Note: I got this secondhand 2 years ago. Only maintenance I did before was clean and lubricate the ride, and clean the idler once in a while via air spray.

So I had an issue last week with rattling on the X axis and when it goes to the left side, over a small part of the rod. It printed well tho and when I did my calibrations it all passed perfectly

I looked up the issue and was told the belt was likely loose. so I followed the prusa rec, loosened the bolts on the side and tightened the belt. I strummed the belt but the app didn’t help at all.

so I retightened and ran calibrations.

It starts, goes to the left, immediately get (X) and it goes back to the right. Y passes. Doesn’t get to test the Z.

I tried to undo what I did before, but same thing. And now the rattling is back, tho slightly lower.

I’m going on vacation in a week and my nephews want to print stuff while I’m gone. Im not sure where I went wrong, and I can’t do any more calibrations still the x is resolved.

You probably need to work through this first - come back if problems persist.

Already ran through that. Except for the firmware, but I just updated it and tried calibration. X failed, Y passed, couldn't pass on to Z.

Attached a vid I just took. Dunno if it'll help.

RE: X axis calibration fails

You need to move the belt tensioner a bit to the left; you probably have it too close, and that's why you are failing. Normally, the X-axis length should be 180.
