This is a custom machined Torlon 4301 tube to replace the lower portion of the stock PTFE tube in the E3D V6 hotend, where the filament tip cooling and shaping is done.  It includes two shorter PTFE tubes the correct length for the variation desired, plus an instruction sheet with recommended start settings for the slicer.  The stock PTFE tubes very quickly stretch oversize when the MMU2 is used, due to the many filament changes.  This causes the tips to grow in size until they cause problems in loading/unloading. Torlon is a very hard, high temperature, bearing grade plastic, and will not change size over time, thus keeping the tip diameters consistent.  These are machined with a 1.85 mm inside diameter.  The Torlon insert is the same for all variations, only the two included PTFE tubes are different lengths depending on the variation, MK3, MK3S, or Bondtech extruder.

Not on a mini no.  The MK3 printers have a very short length of ptfe tube that goes into the very top of the hotend, just below the drive gears.  Its very roughly around 5cm long (varies depending on it its a MK3, MK3s.

The mini uses a very long length of such tube that goes from the extruder stepper all the way to the hot end (in the bowden configuration).  As such such a short length is of no use on a mini.  I assume you are thinking about the mini as you did post in the mini forum ?

The Prusa i3 Mk3 uses the E3D V6 hotend which has a length of PTFE tubing already. You can order spares, of course. A damaged tube can cause clogging and other problems, yes. If you would care to provide a rudimentary description of your problem, you're likely to get more help.

@neophyl

No, I am sorry as I meant to post in the MK3s section.  In a matter of days, I got 2 clogs on my MK3s hot end. I thought perhaps this tube would save me the hassle of undoing my hotend each time. 🙂

Hmm... the OP must've been editing. Lots more info in the post now. As @neophyl notes, Mk3 & MMU are not Mini. But yes, PEI tubing can be a source of problems. Suggest searching for some long discussions on this specific topic.
