Useless spare parts?
Any idea why these two parts are included in the Mini spare parts envelope? It doesn't use either of them.

The one on the right is an extra extruder gear, the one on the left is a fitting for your PTFE Bowden tube.

That's nice. I have a very early model and didn't get either of those parts.

Well that's the point of spares 😛 One day they will become useful.

My point is that NEITHER of the parts are of the design that the Mini uses, at least the model I have. The "festo" fitting appears to be of the type used on the MMU units. The extruder gear is of the type used in the MK3/S units. So why is either included in envelopes (labeled for the Mini) that came with BOTH of the Minis I ordered? Is this just a packaging mistake?

Suppose you bought a new refrigerator and it came with a spare heating element. How useful would that be?

Seeing the MMU I can see what you are saying. These two parts might be wrongly placed in there. My initial thought was that they were what littleneutrino said. Maybe chat can confirm that?

In a word, yes.
Those are not Mini parts, and the standard Mini spares kit does not include the equivalent parts anyway. I was just looking in the Prusa webshop, they are not their either, but you can get them on aliexpress...
