Suspect hot end thermistor
Hi
so after 6 months use it looks like my Minis hot end thermistor has developed a fault - after a while if printing, the reported temperature is fluctuating erratically causing failed prints and the Mini to show an error. I’m hoping that it will be replaced free under warranty, but in the mean time I need to get it up and running ASAP. So I have a spare mk3 thermistor - is this compatible, knowing I may need to change the connector type ?
TIA

I also used a MK3 thermistor replacement on the Mini. It is possible that they differ slightly (104GT-2 -> 104NT), but everything worked normally. The temperature tables of the Mini and MK3 are identical in any case.

Well it turns out I didn’t have a spare hot end thermistor, only the bed type. Support are sending me a replacement and also another MINDA for my first layer print issues.

@texy
There is nothing like the Prusa Support. One may praise the always quick assistance 👍
