Strange behavior on activating filament sensor

Hello,

I'm verry contend whith this nice little but highly precission machine. But I have al little Problem:

Activating the filament sensor, it works fine on filament loading, but if it stays active when the print job starts, the printer reacts afer realy every GCode line as there would be a M600 command - but there is none. It unloads the filament, load it newly, print a bit - one line of code - than again it unload the filament an so on.

Has someone any suggestions to fix this?

Best regards

This reads like a loose connector or damaged/cracked wire.  Check these first.

Thank you! I did so, but it seems to be  OK. Loading filament, it reacts perfectly. When I move filament in and out, there will always be the change in status message as it should be....

That is as it should be but if the connection is loose or intermittent then every movement of the print head may joggle it and cause false triggers.

Ok, that sounds reasonable. Than I will check the sensor again while extruding. Thank you for your help! 😊
