Several problems with Prusa Mini (or maybe it's charmed)

Hi all,

this week i have been trying to print some pieces. I had some (for me very difficult to understand) problems:

- Printing an item, after maybe 1 hour of printing, the printer started to print it twisted 90 degrees. I looked at the prusa slicer and the slices and everything seemed ok. But this was like somebody turn 90 degrees my printer while doing its job

- Printing another item, the printer "magically" uppered the Z-axis around 5 centimeters. Of course, another printing mess...

- Yesterday, printing a different file. Everything was going good. I supervised the printing at 1am, the printer showed 5 hours left... at 5 am, the sound of catastrophe wake me up. The printer was hitting the printing item... but the strange thing was the printer was showing 5 hours left...

OK. This afternoon i oiled the printer with Prusa Lubricant. I updated the firmware to 4.4.0 and my Prusa Slicer is a 2.5.2 version. I started with another file. 10 hours of printing.
After 2h printing, the piece was a mess, the Z-axis was around 4 cms upper and the screen was prompting "45 min left".

I'm a little bit frustated. Any idea of what's happening?

Thanks

I looked at your files and the G-code file is corrupt.

From line 124744 in the gcode it goes wrong. see image.

The 3mf and stl file are fine though.

So re-slicing should solve your problem.

You can check yourself if the G-code went well after exporting it to your usb stick.

You do this by double clicking on the G-code file on the usbstick.

Prusaslicer 2.5.2 g-code viewer will launch and load the file,

if you don't get an error message you can printing the file.

Also try a other usbstick!

I forgot to say...

Yes, i calibrated the printer right after every mess

My initial z-position is -1.800

I moved the 3 axis into the setup section and the three are, apparently, working fine...

Initially this sounded like a hardware issue (such as binding on one or more axes) but the display of wrong remaining time is weird. Can you save a failed project as a 3mf file and zip compress, then upload it here, so we can check the settings?

Hi @fuchsr thanks for taking your time to help me.

Here is the gcode, stl and 3mf of my last item (the one that printed 2h and went mad saying "45 min left"). It failed at 50th slice aprox.

RE:

Much appreciated.

After some tests,  i think my USB is not working well, because the gcode is corrupt after copying to the memory stick. I tried the viewer as you suggested and it's awesome for checking before printing

Thanks!!!
