Removing heat & thermistor cartridge

Hey everyone, I bought the heat break kit for my Mini and I'm working my way through the install but when it get to the remove the heat & thermistor cartridges bit I'm having trouble, now I freely admit after everything that's happened to me the past year I am extremely feeble right now and I have managed to get the heat cartridge to move a little but I cannot get them out of the block at all by just pushing, has anyone got any tips for this?

Did you remove the grub screws?

Also, consider using a heat gun and gloved to loosen the gunk and plastic.

@sp4rkr4t

The key is a little heat.  It works for the grub screws and the cartridges.
